$25 on Craigslist, woo hoo! I am putting her in our bedroom. I want a fancy place to pay bills, maybe even scrapbook a page or two. My wonderful Hubby picked it up for me, I didn't even lift a finger! Thank you God for small treasures like Craigslist, and big treasures like husbands.

So right now I'm all about compact, small and easily packable holiday decorations. Don't get me wrong, I love big 'ol wreaths and elaborate decorations. However living in a 750 sq ft (yes...you read that right) home requires some space efficiency on our part. So while I love decorating for various holidays I simply don't have the space for storing lots of large decorations. Hence, the small and easily packable decorations.I decided to use Cd's (scratched, or ones I don't listen to anymore) and made fun Valentine decorations. I went with the round shape of the CD as my inspiration for the fun sayings, stamped onto cardstock. I used spray adhesive to adhere scrapbooking paper directly to the Cd's, and then decorated them with various Valentine scrapbooking embelishments I already had. You could also make a cute and unique "card" for a loved one for Valentine's day (Hubby is getting one).
What else could you do with these? Think about the cute and fun birthday cards you could make using the same technique.

Thanks again to The Graphics Fairy, I found some cute images to print off the other day. I decided to try and make some cheap (ok...free) Valentine's decorations for the house. Originally I was going to try and make a hanging banner, but that didn't work out so good so I made three separate decorations. They aren't perfect, but as Nester always says, "IDHTBPTBB"!
