Pumpkin Bowling

Tomorrow we are going to our bi-weekly playgroup and we're having a "harvest festival". I said I'd bring stuff along for pumpkin bowling. I just lined some clear plastic cups with orange construction paper and colored on faces with permanent marker. We'll use mini-pumpkins for the bowling balls. It should be fun!

Handmade Happy Fall Y'all

It's windy outside...I would say it's considered "blustery". I am seeing leaves changing colors (finally!) and dropping from the trees. Favorite time of year, love it, love it!! I'm making small changes inside to reflect the big changes I'm seeing outside. Cute fall touches, makes it feel fun and festive. Here are some "handmade" decorations we're using this year.

Tray Sheik

I had this silver frame that was really nice and HEAVY, but the backing was broken. I was going to buy a easel for it. Cleaning out my room this past weekend, I came across that frame and while dusting it off I had an idea. I took a inspirational quote off my wall that was in a frame I didn't really like and put the matted quote into the broken picture frame.

Now I have a "tray" for the top of my dresser. I was going to buy a tray, but now I don't have to! Once again, didn't cost me a dime.
